FAQ

  1. What should I expect during my first appointment?

From the second you walk into our office, you should expect to be welcomed into our dental "home" with open arms. Whether it has been 3 months or 13 years since your last dental check-up you will be given the highest quality comprehensive dental care without any judgment. Our goal is your comfort. See our What to Expect page for more details.

  2. Are you "in-network" with my insurance?

We are "in-network" for basically every PPO dental insurance out there. See our Insurance page for a list of the major dental insurances that we are "in-network" with. Don't see your company on the list? Call us because it is quite possible that we are "in-network" because we participate with many, many insurance companies.

  3. What if I don't have insurance?

No insurance? No problem! We know that it is difficult and often too costly to find comprehensive dental care without the help of dental insurance. We are here to help! Our office has implemented several specials to help defray the cost of dental care for those without dental insurance - you can see them here.

  4. Can I fill out my paperwork before my appointment?

YES! Please see our online forms section. By completing the patient information online, you will simply need to sign a few documents prior to your appointment. This will expedite your check-in at our office.

  5. Do you see children?

Absolutely! Children are ALWAYS welcome at North Orange Family Dentistry! We are not like most offices that will not see children until after their 3rd birthday. Dr. Bogan believes, just like the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, that children should be seen by the dentist when their first tooth erupts or no later than their first birthday. Our office is very child friendly and our focus is always about making every child's visit a positive experience. Making sure every visit is a positive one is the key to ensuring that children do not fear the dentist as they grow older.

  6. What are my payment options?

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

  7. Do you have payment plans?

YES! We have two options for payment plans. We offer the ability to spread the payments over a three month period of time on a credit card, and we have longer payment plan options available through Care Credit. Credit approval through Care Credit is a simple process on your own computer or phone and the approval decision is instant.

  8. Can I see some of your smile makeovers?

Dr. Bogan takes great pride in the ability of dentistry to have positive effects on a person's smile. Most of the time our smile makeovers can take place in a single visit thanks to our CAD/CAM technology. See some of our smile makeovers here!

  9. Do you offer braces?

We do offer clear braces for teens and adults through Invisalign and Clear Correct. Please see our services pages to learn more about both Invisalign and Clear Correct.

  10. Can I really get my crown in a single visit?

YES! Through the use of CEREC CAD/CAM technology, Dr. Bogan is able to complete your crown restoration in a single visit. This eliminates the need for an uncomfortable temporary crown that can come un-glued, and, most importantly, it eliminates the need for a second appointment. We know your time is valuable, and we are able to use technology to save you time away from home and work.

  11. What does "mercury-free" dentistry mean?

"Mercury-free dentistry" means that we don't restore your teeth with anything metal. No metal fillings and no metal crowns. Our office only uses the highest quality composite resin and porcelain material to restore you teeth.

  12. What do I do if I have a dental emergency?

If you have an emergency, you will be able to reach us 24/7. Simply call the office and you will be given the number for the doctor on call. Our goal is to be there for you even when the office is closed.
