Dental Veneers

If you're finding yourself hiding your teeth because of imperfections, dental veneers might be your answer. Dr. Bogan works to create natural, beautiful smiles using the most conservative treatment options, leaving our patients both happy and confident!

Dental veneers are ultra-thin and custom-made using either porcelain or resin composite materials. They are used to correct virtually any tooth imperfection involving color, shape, size or length. Along with enhancing the aesthetics of your smile, they resist stains and mimic your teeth's natural light-reflecting properties so they look completely real even up close. Once Dr. Bogan expertly bonds them over your existing teeth, your smile will be a work of art.

Getting dental veneers is painless and includes three simple steps:
  1. Consultation -- Dr. Bogan will perform a smile analysis where you will discuss your goals for your teeth. After examination, the two of you will develop a plan that meets your expectations.
  2. Preparation -- During this second appointment, Dr. Bogan will prepare your teeth to create room for the veneers. He will also make an impression of your teeth to send into the lab technicians who then artistically craft the veneers based on your individual size and shape. We typically receive them 2 weeks after sending them to the lab, after which you'll be ready for the third visit.
  3. Bonding -- Once the veneers arrive, Dr. Bogan will examine the fit and color in your mouth to ensure your satisfaction. If all looks good, he will clean, polish, and etch your teeth to create a rough surface for easier bonding. He then applies a special cement, places the veneers over your teeth, and hardens it with a curing light. After he removes any excess cement and evaluates your bite, you are free to enjoy your new smile!
There's no reason you should feel self-conscious about your smile because of tooth flaws. If you're in the Delaware, Ohio area and you've been considering dental veneers, don't hesitate to contact our office; we would love to help you have the full confidence you deserve!
